Hi, my name is Amber and I’m in my 30′s (damn, it sounds old that way!). I’ve been a mother for a little over a year now, and it has been a crazy ride so far. I was lucky enough to stay home full time with my daughter, and am thrilled to say that I haven’t missed a milestone.

I will be returning to work this summer, so I’m sure the tone of my blog will change a bit. Going from SAHM to a working mom will surely be an adjustment!

I live in NJ with my fiancé (I still just call him my bf, or “the boy”, because fiancé sounds so silly. Wonder if “husband” will come more naturally?), my daughter, and our kitty.  We’re planning on moving cross-country sometime in the next year or two – Austin or possibly Portland.
